We made it!

Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes for our drive! We took a bit of a longer roundabout route so that we could avoid the big cities (NYC, Philly, Baltimore, and DC oh my). In the end we’re not sure if it actually took longer. We hit virtually no traffic until the end of the first day’s drive when we were in the DC area. All in all it was more of a point A to point B kind of a drive. We still enjoyed it though and the cats did great! 

We got to our new place in Myrtle Beach on Wednesday afternoon which gave us lots of time to meet the owners. Kathy & Scott were so nice and helpful. We also got the chance to meet some neighbours who stopped by to wish them well on their boat trip. Everyone was so kind and offered that if we ever need anything they’d be there to help. Southern hospitality is a real thing and we love it! 

We’ve had a couple days now of unpacking, settling in, exploring, and we’re loving it! Pepper & Sage are doing well getting settled too which has been great. Sage in particular has been racing up and down the stairs and all around. She seems very excited to have this whole big space as her own. 

Anyways, we just wanted to give a quick update that we made it to Myrtle Beach and are doing well! We hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

• Dan’s First Day! Dan starts work on Monday! We’re still waiting to hear what his hours will be this first week. We know it will be a mix of days and nights. Please pray for his first day and for his transition to working nights.
