Half Baked Harvest is my go-to for when I want to make something I’ve never made before, or if I want a new twist on a tried & true classic! I have NEVER been disappointed by any of her recipes, but for the sake of brevity I’ve narrowed this list down to some of my ABSOLUTE favourites. These are all recipes that I loved, would make again, and that whoever I was making it for/to share with also loved.
I’ve made these a few times, and every time they’re a crowd pleaser.
NOTE: the type of peanut butter you use matters! You really want it to be creamy and not a grainy peanut butter so watch out if you go for more all-natural brands (sometimes they say “creamy” but then they’re quite grainy). They’ll still be delicious no matter what though!
NOTE: Don’t leave the bars pre-chocolate-topping too long in the freezer or when you pour the chocolate on it will set too quickly! That happened my second time making them and it made it impossible to get the chocolate really even and made the peanut butter swirl on top super difficult.
My first turkey recipe! The butter-soaked cheesecloth is amazing and fool proof, the fresh herbs just scrumptious, and the final product impressive!
NOTE: The gravy recipe included in this turkey recipe is slightly different than the one below, I recommend the one below – you want those shallots in there, trust me!

This gravy was mine, and everyone else’s, absolute FAVOURITE part of my Thanksgiving meal (2021). I plan to make it every Thanksgiving that I end up cooking for! I had helped make gravy in the past, but never entirely by myself before this, so I honestly think it’s a relatively fool proof recipe!

So tasty and perfect for fall and Thanksgiving! If you top with star anise and cinnamon sticks like she says, you’ll have a tasty and totally picture-worthy final result. (Picture to come as I’m making these again for Thanksgiving this year!)

Beautiful & delicious! I have my own spicy peach chicken recipe, but loved how this one combined peach, pesto, & burrata…three of my favourite things! (I actually don’t typically like peaches, but for some reason peach chicken is my weakness).
This stuff is amazing. Dan and I both couldn’t shut up about it the first time I made it and I’ve made it multiple times since. A tried and true delicious classic. It’s not the simplest recipe and it really is great if you have a wok or at least a big cast iron pan, but man is it good.
WARNING: This is quite spicy (at least every time I’ve made it – even when I try to tone the spice down – it’s been quite spicy). If you don’t want it spicy, go really like on the hot ingredients because it heats up fast.
I have to say, I found these anything but easy. Granted I’m not a professional, but I am a perfectionist, which can be a tough combo. That said, these are totally WORTH it! If you’re like me, you just need to get over needing them to look perfect and you made need to make them a couple of times before you’re totally satisfied with the result. You’ll figure out what works and get better at it each time, while enjoying the absolutely delicious (if imperfect) product every time.
