My Favourite Hello Fresh Recipes

Citrus Pork Tacos
I LOVED these tacos! The meat is so citrusy and delicious, and I’m not someone who usually loves orange! Plus how can you go wrong with pickled onions? I will say I’ve never made them this way before, but it seemed to work pretty well. Definitely a messy taco, but oh so good.
Caprese Flatbreads
I’ve said this before, but this is one of my all favourite things to make, and of course to eat 🙂 After making it half a dozen times Dan told me it wasn’t as much of a favourite for him, but I think I’ve fixed that! I now top the pizza with some chopped arugula and torn up prosciutto. Add the arugula to the tomato and cheese mixture, then top the pizza with the prosciutto before baking so it gets nice and crispy! You really can add it for the full baking time I’ve found. The baking time is underestimated in the recipe, expect for it to take about twice as long depending on how thick you roll your dough.
Italian Chicken over Lemony Spaghetti
Hello Fresh has officially converted me to liking zucchini. I never really did growing up, but tossed in a delicious lemony sauce (or a tasty meat sauce like in the recipe below) it’s SO good! I think the biggest thing for me is making sure I don’t overcook it, so instead of being mushy it adds a nice crunch. I loved adding a generous amount of the crushed red pepper in this recipe to get a bit of heat.
Pork Sausage Spaghetti Bolognese
Like I said above, zucchini is so good! Who knew? Plenty of people I’m sure, but I was shocked at how much I loved it in these two Hello Fresh recipes. I would definitely recommend both of them! A good meat sauce is the best and paring it well with veggies makes me feel nice and healthy. I did skip shaving the zucchini and just opted for chopping it like the last recipe calls for.
Crispy Chicken Parmigiana
What a classic! Chicken parmesan has always been a favourite of me and my family, but we don’t usually bread it. I love that fun added touch though, it’s so delicious and looks great when you can see the layers of meat, sauce, and cheese! The salad was tasty too, and I’m not usually a salad person (unless it’s caesar).
