Dan and I made this video right at the start of his first travel nursing contract (down in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina). We talk about some of the initial things we learned starting off on this adventure of travel nursing.

Some of the topics we cover include:

• having a tax home
• training/onboarding
• the necessity of having savings
• the role of your agent
• how flexible do you need to be
• what protections are available for travel nurses
• impact on your family/partner

We know that some of this sounds a bit negative, but we are still so excited about this travel nursing adventure and thankful to be on it. We are just learning SO much about practical things and some of the challenges of travel nursing so we wanted to share that in case it could be helpful or interesting to someone.
